Engraving. Plate 16/32 of the Ecclesiae Militantis Triumphi, published in Paris by the artists. After the series of the same name engraved by Giovanni Battista de' Cavalieri (ca. 1525 – 1601) and published in Rome in 1583 by Bartholomaeo Grassi (active 1550-1600). The Leclerc engraving inverts the composition of the de'Calvalieri.
