- There are three other versions of the corresponding engraving. One is by Johan Sadeler I, the other has the address of Claes Jansz. Visscher, and the third is published by Pierre Firens. The Sadeler is inverted relative to the painting. And the painting shows the creation of Adam in the foreground, while Sadeler's has it in the background. The Visscher print has God the Father in the form of tetragrams rather than figural representations. The hand of God is over Eve's body in both the painting and the de Leu engraving; it is separate from it in the Firens.
