Note: There is a painting by José de Alcíbar which seems to be based on this painting by Ibarra. For one thing, the Alcíbar painting adds the same veranda in front of Christ as the Ibarra painting. For another, the crosses of Ibarra and Alcíbar are both boards rather than logs. None of these features is present in the print source of Ibarra (PESSCA 5028A).
