Title: Ornamental band
Date: 1507
Medium: Woodcut printed on parchment. Used in the title page of the Missale s[e]c[un]d[u]m usum alme ecclesie hyspalensi[s], published in Seville by the artists in 1507. This band —or a close version thereof— was also used in a page of a Book of Hours possibly published by Juan Cromberger (active between 1527 and 1540; d. 1540) in Seville in 1528 (see Colomer Amat 1998-1999, Fig. 4).
