Plates from the series are signed by Philip Galle (1537-1612), Hendrick Goltzius (1558-1617), Adriaen Collaert, or are left unsigned. Published in Antwerp by Philip Galle in 1582. Republished by Theodoor Galle (1566-1638), by Johannes Galle (1600-1676) and, in 1783, by Cornelius Martinus Spanoghe (active between 1783 and 1789).
