Note: This painting has Saint Joachim to the right of the composition, it has two angels to the left, has the child in bindings, and shows only the edge of the chair on the right. Taken jointly, these features eliminate, as possible sources, both the original Collaert engraving, and the copies by Léonard Gaultier, Justus Sadeler, and those of the other two engravers —both unidentified— illustrated in Leesberg & Leeflang 2008, cat. 189. As well as the copy by Thomas de Leu.
