Note
Line-by-line similarities between 6260A and 6260B suggest that these two woodcuts were printed from one and the same woodblock. Printed in Seville, the Gutiérrez block could have reached Ocharte via Antonio Ricardo, an Italian typographer who traveled from Seville to Mexico in 1570 to become Ocharte's publishing partner as the printing career of Gutiérrez was coming to an end (1572).
