- Although the poem of this image has been lost, the image proper corresponds to Emblem 22 of the Schola Cordis (see 6307A/6307B). We therefore hypothesize —with Escalera Pérez 2014— that the lost poem derives from the poem which accompanied Emblem 22 in the Spanish edition of the Schola Cordis (all surviving poems in the Atotonilco paintings of the Schola Cordis derive from the corresponding poems in the Spanish edition of this book of emblems).
